The Chevy Volt was an official greeter for guests of the Cherryland Electric Cooperative Annual Meeting June 14 at Wuerfel Park.
The electric cooperative’s 74th Annual Meeting included director elections, door prizes, dinner and tickets to the Traverse City Beach Bum’s baseball game.
Williams Chevrolet sponsored the Volt displayed at the at the entrance of the ballpark.
Williams Community Manager Sylvia Dana said she at least 35 people of the 1,800 in attendance stopped to take a closer look and learn about Chevy Volt – an electric car that runs on an electric battery and a gas generator.
